The Role

Perseus Mining is seeking a hands-on Service Delivery Coordinator to optimise our technology support services and ensure efficient incident management. Reporting to the Group Technology Manager, you will handle incoming service requests by prioritising, managing, assessing and escalating critical issues to minimise downtime in addition to:

• Lead the identification of recurring issues, trends, and gaps in service delivery, and drive the implementation of strategic process improvements.
• Oversee the management of incidents and problems, including conducting root cause analyses and developing resolution strategies.
• Establish, analyse, and report on service desk performance metrics, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage and coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in support efforts.
• Drive process optimisation, standardise platforms, and enhance ways of working across the broader organisation.
• Oversee the development and coordination of training programmes for end-users and create valuable resources such as knowledge base articles.

About You

With a solid background in IT and a proven track record in managing teams and projects, our ideal candidate will:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT with at least 2 years experience in a managerial role 
• Demonstrate prior experience managing a team and working with a ticket management platform.
• Exhibit strong time management, documentation, presentation, and reporting skills
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Visio.
• Hold tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Highly Desirable

• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK).
• Previous experience working on projects with Africa.
• French language skills

Where you’ll be working

This position is based in Perseus’s Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 40 employees and growing. You’ll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
