The Role

Due to organic growth, Perseus Mining is seeking a versatile Accounting and Processing Support team member on a permanent basis in our Subiaco office. This position offers the chance to be actively involved in implementing a new ERP system and provides ample opportunities for career development and progression. You’ll collaborate closely with both our corporate office and international operations with daily responsibilities including streamlining workflows and resolving invoice discrepancies in addition to:

• Matching, raising and receipting requisition/purchase orders for the corporate and business growth teams based in Perth;
• Management of workflows for invoice approval system 
• Analysing and improving our invoice processing capabilities
• Liaising with Accounts payable and our international sites for reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies;
• Approval of air freight and logistics POs 
• Perform other ad hoc accounting support tasks as required

About you

Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role or be a newly qualified accountant aiming to pursue CA certification. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. The candidate should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders and suppliers.

Where you’ll be working

This position is based in Perseus’s Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 40 employees and growing. You’ll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
