Grumesa
The Grumesa-Awisam project (39sq km) is located within the highly prospective Ashanti gold belt in south-west Ghana, 30km south-east of the 60Moz Obuasi gold mine and 35km east of the CAGP . The project is situated within the Tarkwaian Series sediments.
With 195,000oz and indicated gold resources 619,000oz inferred gold resources the low grade Kayeya project can be developed as a low capital cost but high operating cost per ounce satellite producer to a larger operation at CAGP.
There is potential to truck ore from Kayeya for processing at the CAGP.
